Psychiatric Care

Psychiatric treatment applies to a variety of modalities, including medication, psychotherapy and a wide range of other techniques.

Treatment may be given as an inpatient or outpatient, depending upon the severity of functional impairment experienced.

All the services provided by PPCS are provided on an outpatient basis.

If specifically requested, however, and if felt to be in a patient's best interests, PPCS has close links with a number of independent psychiatric hospitals and is able to arrange appropriate inpatient care.

PPCS is also able to provide Outcare, an intensive, home based, outpatient treatment programme, available as an alternative to inpatient admission.
